HB Marais is a highly experienced advocate and founding member of Innovation Legal. With over 38 years of experience at the Johannesburg Bar, he has extensive knowledge of various fields of law and has acted as a judge and arbitrator. He believes that the combination of technological advances and the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the evolution of the legal industry and that this is the time for innovation. He has taken on the role of a leader and co-ordinator, aiming to create a well-balanced team of like-minded practitioners who can out maneuver the field in the best interests of their clients, attorneys, and themselves. Additionally, he has appeared pro bono in public interest matters.

Mr. Siya Dlova is a dynamic professional with extensive global experience across infrastructure and energy sectors, specializing in innovative renewable energy solutions. Driven by a commitment to sustainable and equitable solutions, he is dedicated to fostering cross-border social development and global equity. Mr. Dlova has a robust background in emerging economies, particularly in Africa and Asia (China). His expertise includes business development, strategic management, project finance, and project management. He holds an MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
